Favorite Products

Hello!!! It's been awhile since I have blogged so I thought I would share some products I am loving lately..



This body wash smells so good, and it makes my skin so soft! Usually when I get out of the shower my skin is so dried out, but not with this stuff. Love it!


My hair is soooo damaged from all the bleaching, dying, flat iron/curling iron. This stuff is so amazing my hair hasn't been this soft in a LONG time! And maybe its a coincidence, but I think it's helping my hair to grow faster. My hair was an inch maybe two off my shoulders a month and a half ago, and now it's barely touching my shoulder. Yay!



I have tried a couple different mascaras but keep coming back to this one. It makes my lashes look fuller, and is easy to clean off at night which I like.



This stuff is awesome. I like it way better than liquid foundation, and it has sunscreen which I like. I get the ivory color which is the lightest shade. But, for once in my life my arms and neckline are tan!:) So I might get a darker color for summertime. Love this stuff. Won't use anything else.


This perfume smells so yummy! The thing I like most about it, is the smell last! You don't have to spray it on multiple times a day.

Well, there are some of the products I like to use. It's important as a stay at home mom to stay looking, and smelling good for your man. And it just helps me to feel better about myself. I decided to do this post cause most these products I have found on other blog reviews, so I thought I would share them as well.

Thoughts..

Some days I REALLY wish I had friends! Obviously I have facebook friends, but I want to hang out with an adult! Don't get me wrong I love being with Lexi all day everyday, but it gets lonely! Darin spends so much time at work, I just wish I had someone to talk to/ hang out with. I recently had someone tell me how annoying I am so maybe I need to change me before others will like me? And Lexi would love a little friend too.:) I get sick of doing the same thing every day I need to try new things to spice up our days. And I'm just so tired of being heavy but when I eat healthy and exercise like crazy, and it doesn't make much difference it's like what's the point!? I feel like I need a makeover inside and out. It's time to start working on me! And making life a little more exciting for Lexi.. I feel like a bad mom sometimes.. We don't do a whole lot, but what do you do with no car and no money? And than times when Darin is gone for a weekend fishing people say mommy/daughter time! We ALWAYS have mommy daughter time.. Ugh Darin is going on a weekend fishing trip coming up I need to find some fun new things for us to do, or find some friends. Wow this post is depressing.. Maybe I just have the Monday blues.

A little healthy compition

So, I stole this idea from another blog, but I'm so excited to do it!!! Darin and are having a little friendly weight loss competition starting today. If Darin wins he gets what every guy wants every day, for an entire month!!!!... YES LADIES THAT IS MOTIVATION FOR ME!!! I HAVE TO WIN!!!! I DO NOT WANT THAT!!!!! Haha.... If  I win than Darin has to buy me clothes for my new body,:) and that's motivation for him to not let me win..(I think)! I'm pretty excited and am determined to win. I went to the store today and bought a bunch of fruits and veggies, and got some good meal ideas.. I tried making a green smoothie, but it did not turn out well. I will just have to keep expermenting how much of each thing to put in.. I'm still getting over my cold which will make it difficult going to the gym. Mostly I just have a cough, but I hate being around others at the gym that are coughing so I'll stay away. But, the formula for loosing weight is like 70% eating 30% exercise so I'll eat extra good. Anyways enough of that a funny story for you than it's bye bye for now.. Yesterday Darin took Lexi's clothes off after dinner, and let her run around while he got new clothes. Next thing we know she is butt naked standing in the living room window, HA! That girl cracks me up!!

Foody

In this post I am going to talk about the foods I normally eat. Now this hasn't been the case lately due to discouragement and being sick, but I'm working on getting back on track!

Breakfast: Special K and a banana

Snacks: fruits, veggies with hummas, string cheese, greek yogurt, energy bars

Lunch: lean quisine frozen meal and fruit or veggie

Dinner: something with chicken, pasta, and now salmon!


I had lost four pounds in one month(bummer!) But, I was loosing inches. Eating about 1200 calories per day. I think what killed me is dinner, I need to stay away from the pastas! So, now I am going to try the whole eating every 2-3 hours. Any good healthy dinner ideas would be awesome!!Oh, and I go to the gym 5-6 days a week plus daily walks with the Lou. Hopefully I Can figure out what i need to do differently and start melting the weight away.:)
I read somewhere that it's best to eat a high protein snack between 3 and 4p.m. this helps boost the metabolism helping weight in the tummy region. So that's usually when I eat the energy bar. Sorry this post is boring and no pictures. Crying/whiny/needy baby gotta go!

New Beginning

Hello! It has been years since I have blogged, but LOVE to read others blogs.:) With all the luxuries of phones my spelling and grammer have gone downhill, so I apologize. I thought it would be fun to start a blog to share new recipes I try, baby advice/tips, and health and fitness tips/advice, and whatever I feel like.:) All the blogger stuff is soo different since I last blogged, so hopefully I can learn the new ways.

First things first.. Health..
I have been doing pretty good at eating healthy and staying active. Problem.. I would look at the scale WAY too much and became discouraged when I had only lost four pounds in a month and a half. I have not been counting calories/caring for a month now, time to get back on track! I feel so much better when I eat healthy and exercise, so even if I'm not loosing much at least I feel better. This time around I'm not going to be obsessed with the scale. Like some say I'm not dieting I'm making a lifestyle change. So, any suggestions are welcome!:)

Second thing:


I CANNOT keep Lexi out of this window! Nothing seems to work, and I don't think she quite understands timeout. And how long does an almost two year old stay in timeout? She also loves to dance on the kitchen table. She has been giving us a preview of terrible twos, and I am not a fan. HELP!

Third thing:

Another Lexi issue.. I am having a hard time with bedtime. It doesn't matter if I wake her up early and give her an early/ controlled naptime or no naptime she still goes to bed around 11pm. So it's like why wake up early if no matter what she is going to go to bed at 11 anyways? I would also love to sleep in the bed with hubby instead of the on the couch with her. Well.. I say this is a good start and I better get some shut eye while I can. Night ya'll!
